Aer Lingus – www.aerlingus.com
Aer Lingus fly Manchester to Shannon. Shannon Airport is an hour and fourty minute bus ride from Galway City. The bus from Shannon Airport to Galway run every hour at 55 minutes past the hour. The bus is approximately €20 return.

Aer Arann are the only airline that fly directly into Galway. They fly from Manchester with a flight time of one hour and twenty five minutes. It is approximately €20 taxi ride to the city center.

There are a wide variety of hotels in Galway, we have just put together a few options for people with different budgets.
The Westwood Hotel

This is the hotel where the wedding party is being held. It is a short taxi ride from the city center and about a half an hour walk. The price per night per person is €74.50, which is approximately £64.00. We have booking forms for those who wish to stay in this hotel. These booking forms need to be completed and returned by the 17th of August and require either a €100 deposit or a credit card number to secure the booking. This hotel is also about a half an hour walk from the city center. At the moment the room rates are starting at €85 per room ( not per person) , this is approximately £73.00.
Sleepzone (Hostel)

This hostel is right in the city center and is number 8 in the top ten hostels in Ireland. This hostel has a variety of room sizes, prices for a double/twin are €39 euro per person per night, approximately £33.50. This is the maximum price you will be charged it may be cheaper rates available.
